Hi there!  I really need some help.

I'm having an issue with Annual Enrollment blocking enrollment for one of the 1/1/13 flex reimbursment account plans.

ESS will not allow Flex Savings Account enrollment for 1/1/2013. A Mid year popup messgase comes up that says you can not enroll mid-year.  When you close the window the plan is marked as "not available" and the only thing you can elect is waive.

I have completed all the 1/1/2013 plan set ups and enrollment on the BN32 screens is working correctly. However, on ESS, the system is blocking 1/1/2013 enrollment for the flex plans.  All the other plans are working.  I'm a functional person so I'm completely stuck.  Does anyone have any recommendations on what to look at for my technical counterpart?  He's new to Lawson.

This supposed to go live Monday! Any and all help would be welcomed. Thanks!

We had the same problem. Two things.
You may need CTP's 82731 and 87957 that correct problems with this issue.
You need to populate your mid-year cycles on BS06.

Is the cycles.htm in $WEBDIR/xbnnet still used? That is the error you get if that document doesn't have the correct paydates in it for some versions of Lawson.

Hi.  Thanks Barb.  The employer I'm working with has used ESS in previous years and the flex plan.  They have not set up BS06 before.  I think it's because the contributions are set up as an annual amount.  Can you give me some more info on this?

Thanks.  I will send to my Tech counterpart.  This may help him find the issue behind the scenes.  :)

It depends on what releases you are on MSP and EMSS (but don't ask me at what release things changed).
Lawson's doc still refers to cycles.htm, but BS06 replaced that requirement.
FYI we did not have this issue on Annual enrollment, only for New Hire enrollment. For a mid-year enrollment, it has to have a table to look up the dates in order to see how many pay periods would be left so it can display them and use them to calculate the amount to display. Tables are BNCYCLE and BNCYCDTL. KB 557454 has some info.
You're at the limit of my knowledge now, so best of luck!

PTank, did you get this fixed? I am having the same problems and my client and would like to know how you fix it.
