We are moving from Lawson 10 to Infor Cloudsuite.  In the past when Landmark changes, we had to install a new version.  I heard that a new version will be loaded.  I remember Rich Client worked that way.  Is that correct?

In the past, I had to install Strawberry Perl.  Is that still the case?

Yes, I believe you still need Perl. When you open IPD, you may get a message that a new version is available for download. You can then go to mingle and download and install the current version.

That is correct. You still need to install JDK and Perl as prerequisites. When Landmark runtime gets updated, when you connect from IPD there is a version mismatch message, and a link to download the latest IPD.jar file. Installation itself is still command-line: java -jar IPDxxx.jar
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!
