We have LBI version 9.0.1.7.26  that was purchased a while back and we are thinking of implementing this soon. We are currently going through LSF 9 migration on Windows and will be moving to apps 9 by May 2010.

Would it matter if we did LBI before we did apps 9 or would it be best to wait until after?

The only thing that might be affected is the tables and files you base your reports off of. Depending on what version of Apps you are currently on you may need to adjusted your queries when you move to 9.0 apps but the effort isnt that great unless you are moving from AS400 to Unix or Windows.

I would recommend upgrading to LBI to 9.0.3.x before implementing. There have been tons of bugs fixed since 9.0.1.7, not to mention some additional functionality.

I would echo the sentiments of both previous posts. Also, make sure that people actually test the reports if you're upgrading from LRS. I've seen some Add-in issues based on old dme calls that worked in 'the environment' but not now. Of course, if your reports come from an ODBC source (not OLEDB) then it might not matter.
