The Data Transformation node is easy - you just execute the data mapping built. The mapping has to be built in it’s tool and has nothing to do with IPA.

We are seeing that - we have to configure it through websphere - but we saw somewhere that you had to use a plugin for eclipse....to create the structure - but we cannot determine how or where to get this plugin.

I split this into a separate topic. The Data Transformation Node is used in conjunction with the IBM WebSphere/DataStage/Mercator mapping product (the name changed several times). It is very powerful tool, but with a steep learning curve. You create input and output "type trees" (again, steep learning curve), and map from input to output. The mapping product has a client / designer component and compiles to a server map file that is loaded and run using a server component. All of that is accessed by the DataTransformation node. Depending on your requirements and subject to configuration (i.e. hosted vs. on-premise), it can do some amazing things. All that being said, it's not really a go-forward solution, since it depends on a third-party product (IBM WebSphere/DataStage) and Infor Cloud multi-tenant doesn't support it.
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!
