I am new to LSF9 security - I have followed the administration document to add a user - The user can log successfully on to Portal but still has access to every screen.  I can't seem to find the problem.  I have created a protal role, a LSF9 security class, and a rule for the security calss and assigned it to the user - still not luck. Can anyone give me a suggestion on what I am doing wrong?

First, check to make sure you have security turned on. Use the lawsec command without any parameters to check.

Are you using LAUA security or LS security?

If LS, do you have "security checking" turned on in Security Administrator?

For this user, do you have the CheckLS flag set to YES or NO?

John - Thanks for the reply -
Security is on ...
I am Trying to use LS security - this is my test user - the company is till on LAUA in production.
I did NOT lave "security checking" turned on - but I do now  -  same result user can access screens (forms) that I do not even have defined in the security class(role).
The CheckLS flas is set at YES.

Does the user's security class/rules include 'securable type' of "FORM" as well as system codes?

You need to remove securable type FORM. It intersects with system code to allow access to any form in an allowed system code.
