LSF - 9

ESS/MSS wants the Service for an employee record in LSA setup as a single digit COMPANY number.  (for us that is 1)

Process Flow Web Inbasket for HRUserAction nodes is requiring the COMPANY number to be 4 digits ...  I think it wants a string (for us that is "0001"

If I set an Associate's login service as COMPANY number = 0001 associates can not access ESS/MSS and if I set their COMPANY number = 1 then they do not get things from process flow in their Web-Inbasket for approval.

Anyone have an idea????

In GL01.1, what is the Company Number.. .is it 1 or 0001?

When you say, "ESS/MSS wants the Service for an employee record in LSA setup as a single digit COMPANY number" have you tried to enter 4 digits? If so what happens? What is the error message?

In the HRUserAction node, there is the drop downs for Company. In that drop down, what does it list? 1 or 0001???  (Note: your processflow client must be logged in and connected to Lawson.)

I haven't had any problems with entering 0001 in Security Admin for a company and using ESS/MSS.
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

For us we get errors .... (STRANGE THING..)

PROD_EMPLOYEE (service)
I MUST have company variable on this service set as "0001" for HRUserAction to work in process flow. Overwise the flow can not find a user to assign the action to. However, with "0001" for the company the Self-Service does not recognize the employee record (employee record not found - this is displayed with something as simple as "Personal Profile")

Now for the kicker: if I change the company variable for the PROD_EMPLOYEE service to "1" the self service works. (However no web inbasket - the HRUserAction fails because all branches are false - ie. can't find a user with the 0001##### to assign the action to...)

NOW FOR THE REALLY STRANGE: If I use company = "0001" and change the Access flag on the RM Information screen in LSA both features. However this opens a security hole because if an employee gets to HR11 they can sse EVERYONE's information - including Pay...

****I know I could remove search criteria but that does NOT keep them from accessing if they know a little about Lawson. This takes someone directly to HR11 "http://webservername/lawson/portal/index.htm?_PDL=PROD&_TKN=hr11"
