Infor said to review KB 1211962 - since we haven't run PR198 yet - is it possible to change the GL_DATE on PRDISTRIB for the records with a Status of 1 without creating other problems?

Our Finance dept unlreased the JE in GL45 and then changed the Post Date and then the JE moved to the correct period and released it again.
I don't know if there are any other ramifications from a reporting standpoint but Finance is happy so that's all that matters. If it's that easy to fix
I don't know why Lawson's first recommendation is voiding the whole payroll, that seems like overkill to the extreme.

We've had a similar situation occur here (2012 was used instead of 2013 in January) and used sql to change the GL date based on the time stamp of the records.

So our hosting partner this morning told us it would be billable to update PRDISTRIB and there might be other tables involved etc.
Then someone else just called me from our hosting partner and said it was no big deal they do it all the time and it takes 5 minutes
once the records on PRDISTRIB have been identified and that it is the only table that the GL Date touches on the PR197.
So if it happens again I'm just going to call the second person that called and get the table updated before PR198 runs.
