"Manually-defined HR employee groups can’t have more than 10,000 employees (on this one I guess I’d agree with Lawson that any list which requires manual maintenance shouldn’t really have that many employees–and that there should be some criteria which is common enough across that group to make it an automatically-populated employee group.  But just the same, a “duplicate record” error isn’t the right “solution”.)"

Is there any other limitation that big companies (80k or greater employees) should be aware of?

there are a lot of other places in Lawson with a 9999 record limit. Be aware of performance of the system as your payroll/check runs get bigger and bigger.

thanks, krock. Can you give me an example (except for Direct Deposit) where record limits are less than 10k?

uploading Journal Entries in GL either through Add-ins or iimportdb. Uploading budget data through FBUDREL. I think it is more of a SEQ NUMBER limit, not a data limit.

We just discovered that the PR260 does not show Billions. That is DEFINITELY an issue for large companies.
