Has anyone created an ACH file out of Lawson Payroll for payroll deductions such as wage garnishments for child support? We have been approached by the State of Connecticut to transmitt our child support wage garnishments via ACH.
Can this be accomplished in Lawson via payroll (as opposed to AP) and if so how?
Thank you
Bob Nelson

We are just starting to get into it. It appears Lawson does not have the capability to set up AHC transaction for a child support garnishment deduction in Payroll so it looks like the ACH transaction will need to come out of AP.

We do Child Support payments using ACH through our Bank (Wachovia). We submit a file in the format the bank requests it in and then submit it for payment.

Thank you Steve. Does the ACH payment file come out of Lawson AP or Lawson Payroll. What State are you in? And would it be asking too much to have a little chat concerning how you have this configured in Lawson.
Thank you very much Steve.
