Our payroll dept accidentally ran pr198 (in update mode) before pr197. As luck would have it pr198 went into recovery with a distributions out of balance error. When they try to run pr197 it goes into recovery with pr197 already running error. There are no pr197 jobs running or waiting and ps -ef confirms this. The PRMONITOR table is empty so there is no pr197 flag set thereand PR00 shows all "R" in the pr197 column. Anyone know how to clear the pr197 is already running error?

PR00 delete the entries? When my payroll manager messes up, I have to clear PR00 so they can rerun the payroll.

Thanks - we were considering changing the PR199-Flag from "R" back to " " in PRSYSTEM table. Pretty sure this is where PR00 flags are stored.

Lawson advised us to clear the PR199 flags that had "R" int he PRSYSTEM table, however pr197 still will not run.

Turns out it was the PR140 PR160 flags on the company record. They got wiped at some point and settting them back to * allowed pr197 to run. Wow, this was fun.
