Does anyone know that uses EMSS for managers to put in personnel actions for their direct reports if there is a way to route those pending actions to HR for approval? I was thinking you had to have Process Flow (which we don't), but wanted some other opinions/ideas, thanks.

We use process flow for the approvals.

We use Process Flow (Integrator) as well... I wish I could think of a creative solution but the only thing I can think of is integrating the information with SharePoint???? However, I would not use this because it would open my data up to a new system and I am not convinced that you could build the same processes that you can build in Process Flow.
Good Luck!!!

Hi Tracy - another way to get approval would be to use the flag on PA50 "Web Immediate = N". That would put the action into pending status, and it would be updated via PA100. Unfortunately, it doesn't route the action anywhere, but HR COULD be accountable for reviewing the output before it's updated. Good luck!

Stephane got me thinking..... Does the table behind PA50 show a field for who did last change to the action? If it logs the user that performed the change action on PA50 you could track the approval by who performs the update on the PA50 - a bit of a longshot...

Thanks all for your responses. We do have our PA52 actions all set to pending and have 2 people review before running in update to please the auditors, so looks like process flow would be needed unless we want to build some custom programs.
