Over the years we have accumulated multiple security structures through upgrades and various projects.  I highly doubt some of the structures are being used (or at least hope) since some of them are labeled "test" or have similar names.  We would like to remove the structures that are not being used.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can determine if a structure is being used or not?

Thanks in advance!

Chad,
The only way I could think of is to dump the profile using the 'lsdump' tool, and either check the rule itself by parsing the XML, or attempt to check the Depends attribute. I haven't done this myself, so I'd need to check into it a bit more, but I couldn't until this weekend.

Another tool to check is the 'lscheck/lsinteg' tool. The binary is 'lsinteg', but the internal class name seems to be 'lscheck'.

Thanks for the information Kwane.

I ended up running a Security Profile Report from LSA and performed a search of each of our structures.
