Hey All,

Has anyone come up with a good method to get the webuser data out of LDAP. What i am talking about is the information formerly stored in logan.webuser under 8.0.

I have seen several suggestions on Lawson KB that people have created thier own logan.webuser under LSF9. While this probably would work, I am trying to avoid creating another mantiance and possible breaking point.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks - Chris

WEBUSER is gone in lsf9. What particular data you need in LDAP? When we migrated to lsf9 we used the 80x webuser data to update ldap using processflow. from then on any laua maintenance is also loaded into ldap(RM). We have a flow scheduled everyday to extract information from ldap.

For clients who have ProcessFlow Integrator, I create a flow that runs nightly and combines RM info with EMPLOYEE info and other data into a database table.
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

Thanks Sam and John,

I think I'll check out that process flow integrator. If we dont have it or if i have difficulties with it we may decide to just create our own custom "webuser" table and just update it for new employees when we run the loadusers utility.

If I come across anything more innovating that those options I'll post the solution, but I really think one of those will work for us.

Thanks Agan :-)
