When I launch the login menu for Lawson add-ins, the server & user id information is not retained from my previous login. (It can be rather annoying to have to type this information everytime I access add-ins.) I would also like to retain the password also or avoid the login prompt, if possible. Security is not an issue because the spreadsheet that I launch the add-ins from is stored on my local drive and password protected.
Any ideas or help on the server & user information or the login process would be appreciated.
Thanks

The reason the login is not retaining the server name and userid - is because you ADD-in setup is lacking a directory that would house the file that retains this information. I'm in a Windows shop - so the directory and file is located at:
Program Files\Lawson Software\Office Add-ins\LoginDir\LoginHist.nbp
If the directory of
LoginDir
is not present - file can't be generated and updated.

Ok, that is what I needed to know. Thank you for the quick response.

I've also found the user needs admin rights (read/write) access to the Add-Ins folder.

Can anyone tell me what the .nbp login file is encrypted with? The extension is referenced as a mathematica file but I was unable to read this file using mathematica.
Thanks
