Error 1404 when installing add-ins

    I am a local admin of the workstation.  I am right clicking and choosing: Run as administrator. During the install, this error comes up:  "Error 1404.  Could not delete key \software\classes.  Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel."  Options appear of Abort, Ignore, Retry.  If I ignore, the add-ins appear to install and show up in Excel, but not accessible. Runing Word 2010, and addins for version 10. Assistance appreciated.
