We are creating a warehouse for pandemic supplies that will supply two of our hospitals with inventories. We want to set the replenshment at the hosptials to pull from this new location. My question is, how will will know at the new location that one of the two locations needs stock? Will we have to set up a printer for a pick ticket or would we have to run IC140? The new inventory location will replenish from our current distributor.

This is my first time setting up an inventory location and I want to make we have everything in place.

    Thank you in advance!

Hi Andrea- two keys steps: (1) for each item in storeroom1 that will be replenished from storeroom2, you need to setup the IC12 records to define that the replenishment source will be the storeroom2. this is setup using the Replenishment button on the SOURCE Tab (in IC12). alternatively, this can be setup using Lawson Addins for MS Excel. you must define the company and location; you can optionally define the exact replenishment bin if you want (2) you will run the IC141 report to create the replenishment transactions. From there, the WH110 and WH130 jobs will pick up these requisitions and create pick lists when they run. If you already have WH110 and WH130 jobs running for storeroom2, then you don't need to do anything - the pick lists will be picked up as part of the existing jobs. [side note: you do not have to run WH110 if the IC Company for the company that houses storeroom 2 is setup for ON LINE ALLOCATIONS]. I know I threw a lot at you here. Let me know if you have additional questions or want to discuss.
