Does anybody have step by step instructions or can you point me to documentation on upgrading WebSphere from Java 1.7 to Java 1.8 ? I understand that both LSF and Landmark have to be on the save version. We are LSF 10.0.9 and Landmark 10.1.1.56. Also do we need to upgrade our other systems - MSCM, etc? Thank you.

There is IBM documentation and Lawson documentation that is product-specific.
IBM Java switch process is here:
https://www.ibm.com/suppo...itchjavaversion.html
https://www.ibm.com/suppo...was_switch_java.html
Check LM manuals for LM instructions. LSF - you will need to switch PATH in config and properties files in half-dozen places.
The potential problem is - Java 8 works with SSL differently than Java 7. So, the upgrade may break SSL. You may also need to update BouncyCastle in all changed instances.
MSCM 10 does not support Java 8, but it can stay on 7 while everything else is upgraded to 8.
Make sure to check compatibility matrix before you start.
