application upgrades slowing down?

in Feb. 2006 we saw 9.0.0 and in May 2008 we saw 9.0.1... At CUE this year neither a new cyclical nor a new release was revealed. Is Lawson slowing down to let clients catch up or is it too early to tell?

I think you will see that 9.0 was as much for the environment as apps, 9.01 allowed for 64 bit and some additional functions that lead you to smart office. There is still not that many on 9.01 but they are ramping up. I think many clients of Lawson want to stablize for a little bit and Lawson has see few adoptors of 9.01 early. They may slow slightly in major releases but I'd say be prepared to keep moving because they want you within two ESP/MSP of current.
