RD30.1 - User Personal Profile and Web Name
**Form Purpose
Use User Personal Profile and Web Name (RD30.1) to set up users with
Attributes.
To set up a web user with Attributes
1. From the Actions or the pull-down menu on the toolbar, select Add.

To change an existing User Personal Profile, from the Action menu, or the
pull-down menu on the toolbar, choose Inquire and then Change.
2. Type in the required information for a user in the fields.
3. Choose Add or Change to commit the definition to the User Personal Profile.
Field Definitions
- Id
Usage: Required by all Lawson applications
The ID field and description automatically populate with a unique Lawson ID
number, if left blank. The field can be used to enter a unique identification
number, such as an employee number. You can not delete this number. Attributes
are linked to the user with this ID. The field is populated automatically when
using the web-deployed LOGAN User Administration form.

Usage: Required for all Lawson applications
Leave the ID and Description fields blank to automatically populate.
Once a Lawson ID is created, it cannot be changed, as the ID is the primary
key. All information about the ID can be changed. The ID can be deleted,
however, if attributes are attached to this ID, the corresponding attributes
can also be deleted.

Usage: Resource Directory
Note Resource Directory is a database used by Resource Management and other
Lawson Information Management and Integration and Collaboration products.
The default ID types that come with the Resource Directory are COMMITTEE,
CONTACT, CONTRACTOR, CUSTOMER, EMPLOYEE, MAILINGLST, OBJECT, SHAREHOLDER,
SUPPLIER, and VENDOR.

The honorific for this user (MR., MISS, MS., or MRS.)
- Name Suffix
Usage: Resource Directory
This is an option used by the Resource Directory application. Any suffix for
this person; for example, Jr. or Sr.
- First Name
Usage: Required
First name
- Middle Initial
Usage: Optional
Middle initial
- Last name
Usage: Required
Last name
- Web Name
Usage: Required
The name matches the web server user name. Use exact spelling and upper and
lower case as the user name on the web server.

For use with PKI, the user's x.400 name granted by Entrust/Direct for Apache
or IIS.
- Web Type
Usage: Lawson Self-Evident applications
Indicates the type of information access this user requires and delivers a
greeting for the web user.
AD - Administrator,
BU - Buyer
CU - Customer
EM - Employee
FN - Finance
RQ - Requester
VN - Vendor
AT- Attendee
EC- Microsoft COM+ user.
- Status
Usage: Required for Information Office/Self-Evident application users.
I or A or H
Status of a user is active (A), inactive (I), or (H) historical. You can
disable or reactivate a user's web access with (I) or (H) status without
having to re-add user information. Active is the default.

Usage: Resource Directory
This field provides user name or keyword search capability.
Web Info Tab Field Definitions- Company
Usage: Human Resources Suite and all Self-Evident applications
The user's company number in the Lawson Human Resources.
Important Both Employee and Company fields are required for program and data
restriction checking to occur.
- Requester
Usage: Preretirement, Distribution and Requisitions
The user's requester number in the Lawson Requisitions application.
- Vendor Group
Usage: Procurement, Distribution, and Vendor Self-Service
The user's vendor number in the Lawson Accounts payable application.
- Customer Group
Usage: Customer Self-Service
The user's customer group number in the Lawson Accounts Receivable
application.
- Buyer Code
Usage: Procurement, Distribution, and Requisitions
The user's buyer number in the Lawson requisition system.
- Partner
- Email
Usage: Optional
The user's e-mail address for use with distributing batch jobs and other
Lawson-related reports and data.
- Activity List
Financials and Financial Reporting Self-Service
- Prodline
Usage: Overrides the default product line, data area, or data ID
Overrides the default product lines, data areas, or data IDs. If left blank,
the default product line, data area, or data ID in the logan.env file is used
for the web user.
- Access
Usage: Advanced/Web Info fields described below
Y removes the Advanced/Web Info field restrictions.
N limits the user access to Advanced/Web field restrictions. N is the default.
An administrator who sets up user access must have Privileged set to Yes.
- Employee
Usage: Human Resources and Employee and Manager Self-Service
The user's employee number in the Human Resources Suite.
Important Both Employee and Company fields are required for program and data
checking to occur.
- Approve Code
Usage: Procurement, Distribution, and Requisitions
- Vendor
Usage: Procurement, Dispiriting, and Vendor Self-Service
- Customer
Usage: Customer Self-Service
- Prospect
Usage: Resource Management
- Login
Usage: All users.
Provide the login with the laua Security Class definition that you want to
apply to this Lawson web user.
This is the login from the operating system that has been given a Security
Class in laua. Use the exact spelling and upper and lower case.
If left blank, the default login access is given to the user.
- Activity Grp Collect
Usage: Financials and Financial Reporting Self-Service
Reserved for future use.
- Prodline2
Usage: Some Sefl-Evident applicaitons and Lawson user interfaces
Same as Project Data Area, Prodline 2 is used differently by the Lawson user
interfaces and Self-Service applications.

Attribute ButtonsUsing the Attributes feature, you can grant users further
customizing of their Lawson web site, such as a default menu. In addition to
the default Attributes delivered with the Internet Object Services (IOS), you
can create additional Attributes.The attributes are associated with the ID
number. For this reason, IDs can not be deleted.
Additional Attributes - You can assign pre-defined attributes to a user by
choosing Additional Attributes. These identifying characteristics about a user
or a group can be used as search criteria. Use the pre-defined Lawson
attributes or define your own. See Additional Attributes (LX90.2), Attributes
(LX00.1), and Associate Attribute to ID Type (LX00.2)
Multi Attribute Types - Attribute groups are used as categories where you can
store different sets of addresses and other information of a person or group
on the User Personal Profile. See User Personal Profile with Multiple
Attribute Types and Additional Attributes (LX90.2), Attributes (LX00.1).
