WF23.1 - Work Unit Messages
Use WF23.1 (Work Unit Messages) to view and revise messages attached to the
work unit. Unlike folder
files, whole messages are part of the work unit. Messages are added to the
work unit as individual records
associated by a message ID. Records can be added, changed, or deleted. The
user ID of the person who
added the message is displayed along with the time and date when the message
was added.
Updated Files
CKPOINT - The CKPOINT file is a batch process recovery file. This file
stores the number of the last record processed.
WFMSGDTL - The Workflow Message Detail file is updated when a message is
added to a work unit. A record is created
for each line (60 characters) of the message. One or more
message detail records is combined with one
message header record to create a single message.
WFMSGHDR - The Workflow Message Header file is updated when a message is
added to a work unit. This file includes
the user ID of the user who added the message, the date and
time when the message was added, and a
unique message ID. The message header record is combined with
one or more message detail records to
create a complete message.
Referenced Files
WFWORKUNIT - The Workflow Work Unit file is referenced to confirm that the
specified work unit exists in the Workflow
Management system.
