Hello, I work with Infor daily and I have noticed that some screens such as the AC290 have a print manager button but others do not. Is there a way to add a print manager button to the GL90 instead of having to open a new tab and searching print manager?

The easy answer is yes. You can either customize the existing Lawson screen for GL90 ( Not Recommended) by adding the same button references for print manager found in AC290. You can create a Design Studio copy of GL90 and add the button there. My suggestion is to simply go under user content and add the bookmark for Print Manger so you can access it from any screen you want without adding a new tab or needing any screen changes. If you cannot see the bookmark, it may access granted to it by the Lawson Admin under bookmark manager.

Hi Jason,
That's a great question. The underlying reason is that batch jobs (e.g. AC290) have the job scheduler and print manager buttons included because they're batch jobs, whereas online forms (e.g. GL90) do not. I wholeheartedly agree with Scott that you should NOT make any customizations to those base programs to add the functionality, but should rather 1) add the 'jobs & reports' bookmark, and/or 2) if you're on 10.x/Mingle, you can use the Print manager context app that sits next to the "portal" frame, and will show your print jobs on the same page.
