    HRIS Coordinator

    New Hanover Regional Medical Center

    Wilmington, NC


    The HRIS Coordinator is responsible for the development and modification of department IT application and hardware. Additional responsibilities include:

    ·         Guides department management in the use of IT applications to maximize department performance and management decision-making

    ·         Maintains system documentation

    ·         Functions as a liaison to IS, equipment, and system vendors

    ·         Performs a variety of analytical projects related to compensation and benefits to include, but not limited to, system enhancement options and system/administrative procedure reviews to determine efficiency improvements

    ·         Recommends changes in system procedures and system enhancements



    ·         Bachelor's Degree in Information Services, HR Management, Healthcare Administration or other related information management field

    ·         3-5 years of IT experience in a similar healthcare HR department

    ·         Demonstrated ability to support the ITs' application utilized to maximize the performance of the HR department

    ·         Demonstrated ability and 3-5 years experience supporting Lawson or Peoplesoft HRIS

    ·         Certification and/or licensure in program related to field preferred
