    Job Summary:


    Researches, analyzes, designs, troubleshoots and maintains systems and processes in support of Human Resources department and departmental projects. Continually monitors Human Resources systems information needs and designs new or modifies existing systems and data reports to meet changing technology requirements. Serves as liaison with information systems staff in resolving programming and related problems. Maintains a high level of technical competence and serves as a resource for complex projects or system issues. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals within established timelines.Recommends new equipment or software in support of Human Resources objectives.

    Responsibilities:


    Analyzes systems operations within Human Resources.Prepares recommendations and documentation to create the services and help formulate policies and procedures for these systems.


    Participates in implementation, testing, and maintenance of systems to support Human Resource processes based on end-user needs.


    Develops, writes and maintains training documentation and materials.Provides training, as needed, to both HR and external customers.


    Actively supports human resources and strategic planning efforts.


    Works with all areas of HR to standardize workflows, automate processes, improve system performance and gain efficiencies through technology.


    Designs and develops timely and accurate ad-hoc reports with available tools (e.g., Lawson, Crystal Reports, Excel, Access or other tools) using advanced query techniques.


    Prepares, analyzes and maintains cost and statistical data as required for regulatory reporting and documentation for new programs.Assumes responsibility for cost data and statistical data preparation analysis.


    Collaborates closely with Human Resources team in order to design new or modify existing systems to meeting changing requirements.


    Provides analysis and interpretation of data as required.Accurately identifies trends, variances, and key issues through data analysis.


    Ensures the data integrity of HR systems, including but not limited to, interfaces and table maintenance, and executes system quality audit procedures.


    Reviews and evaluates administrative/planning studies.


    Requirements:


    Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, IT or related field required.


    Experience: 3 to 5 years Lawson HR System experience.


    License, Registry, or Certification Required: PHR preferred


    Special Training: Must have high level, demonstrated knowledge and skill using database and spreadsheet, packages (e.g., Access, Excel, etc.).Crystal reporting experience is required.Experience in integrated critical thinking skills, i.e., planning, organizing, and interpreting, into a cohesive departmental program; strong oral and written communication skills.
