When setting up a job in LID, you have the option for option C (CSV File Attributes)

Is this available using the new LSF security, and if so, how do I get there?

    Thanks in advance,

    -Greg

       ??

You don't set up jobs in LSF security.

You can set up jobs in LID using jobdef along with the CSV file attribute choice.

I can see/get to jobdef via Portal though, the only thing is, the CSV definition (if you want to change from the default) is not there.
Just wondering if that option is available via Portal is really the question, I guess.

Did you ever figure this out?  It seems like we can't edit CSV Attributes of jobdef for people who are Check LS (Y) meaning not LAUA users.  IS there a way around this?

I believe you can only set the csv attributes, and file locations, etc., through LID - and you need to be using an ID that is CheckLS=No. So typically this is done by an IT person who have access to an administrative user id.

              Greg,
there are a few things. First, I believe BarbR is correct in that you can only reach this via LID.
As for how to grant access to this via LS, have you granted access to *both* the 'csvdef' token and the 'DEVELOP' environment category, the token is located in?

If you can only reach this screen via LID, then I guess my question is not needed. The ONLY people that we have given LID access to are our IT people, and I guess we'll just have to continue to set up the users jobs if they need this sort of change.

This feature (ability to set CSV file attributes for a job from "Portal"/Ming.le/Workspace) is now available in 10.0.5 (i.e., no longer requires LID)
