I'm attempting to run a report an keep getting this error?
"Max processing time or Max records limit reached"
Is there a setting in LBI that I can change to avoid this error?

Yes, these are Crystal Reports Server Embedded (aka RAS) settings. From the LBI server, go to your Central Configuration Manager via Start --> Programs --> BOXI --> CR Server Embedded.
Go to Properties for RAS and selec the Parameters tab (Option Type = Server). The RAS service must be stopped before changes can be made.

Yeah, this is easy. its a configuration of the RAS engine (Crystal Report Application Server). Note it will result in downtime for your LBI environment. Your users will still be able to use LBI but any report requests made that are Crystal Report format will return errors.
>Go to the Crystal (or Central depending on your version) Management Console
>Click on the Parameters Table
>Select "Database" from the drop down
>Set your "Max Number of Records" to a threshold youre comfortable with
>if you want to increase report performance you can also bump up the Batch Size but be sure your server has enough RAM to handle higher threshold.

Is there a way to set max for reports created in report writer? I have a user who likes to run reports wide open and collect 100,000 lines of data. Brought our system down once.
