LBI Crystal Reports Bursting

    Hello,

    I'm trying to burst a report to supervisors based on the departments they cover. In Reporting Services Administration, I've been able to set this up by using Import Rights, linking the supervisors user name to a specific department.

    Since supervisors change and employees change departments, is it posible to automate the process of uploading user rights with a CSV file?

      Carl,

      There is no delivered way to sync the user rights. However, you could write a script to sync the data at the database level. This does require an understanding of the LBI tables.

        Thanks for your reply. I was able to track down the LBI tables and see the relationships. It's not very straight forward, but it definitely looks like a possibility.
