    Hi,

I have a Smart Note that, once moved to Production, will be designed to deliver a letter template to each email address that appears in the info set (It's a notice that will go to supervisors about their new hires; one will deliver as soon as the employee is put in a HIREACTN2 PA Action and their status is A0, and the other is set up to deliver to the supervisor with a different message on the employees first day of employment). But before we start sending these notices, we wanted to test these first. We want to have all the Smart Note letters deliver to a device so we could review and make sure they look right, that the Smart Notes are generating anotice for the right people, etc...

The problem: When I set these Smart Notes up to deliver to a device (versus the intended recipient upon go-live), the Smart Note only includes the letter template for the first person in the Infoset. How can I change the notification to deliver a letter template for "each" person in my info set to each device? Thank you!

When you set the bursting of the smart note you can choose to send it just to the delivery device selected, when you do this it will burst the smart note but only send to the device. It will send the notice and the subject will say "Burst Test" and will have the email address that it would normally have gone to included in the subject.

Hi, Thanks for the response. Based on your response, I set up my Smart Note to "Burst" on the supervisors email address. I also unclicked "collate". Then on the bottom of the deliery screen, I chose to "only send to the devices on the device tab".

If I understand correctly, even though I have this set up to "Burst", because I chose to only send to the devices on the device tab (which is my email address), now I should start getting what: One email with multiple letters in the same email (We typically hire several people a day, so one letter per employee), or should I expect to get a separate email for each new employee?

Just trying to anticipate what to expect. And hoping these do not go to the supervisor emails yet! :)

You should get a separate email for each notice being sent
