We are trying to setup MSCM and want certain users to be able to scan and submit Pars via the handheld without being able to change information like pars, location, etc in IC81.  We have not been able to setup security around this, does anyone know what you need to be able to submit counts via the handheld, but not be able to edit IC81.1 or IC81.2.  We have tried added IC83.1 and inquire only to IC81.1 and still when sending counts it creates a security error.

    Thanks

Have you set them up as requesters in RQ04? In addition to having them setup as MSCM users, we have them setup as requesters.
We had to play with it quite a bit to get it to work...good luck!

Thank you Michelle for the reply.  We have them setup in RQ04 and everything works as long as we give them full access to IC81.1 and IC81.2, but as soon as we try to limit that in some way it fails for the staff to upload the counts via the handheld.  I was hoping someone else was successful in limiting the form.

If they have an RQ04 that will accept the requisition coming out of MSCM - you should be able to create a group in MSCM admin that allows Count, Pick, etc.

Our material handlers have full access to RQ10, IC83, plus IC81.1 and IC81.2 so they can adjust their pars when needed. They only have inquiry access to all other RQ/IC screens. But if you don't want them to be able to adjust their par levels I would think they would only need full access to RQ10 and IC83.
