We are testing our handhelds in test for MSCM and we are using 8800 sysbol series,

Our problem is our rq's are releasing. We always used the rq500 in the past to stop this process, and not sure we need this pogram and if so how do we set it up. This is one of the two things stopping me from going live

MSCM does not use RQ500, like Handheld Integrator used to do. Requisitions get added directly to Procurement one at a time by the MSCM adapter, which runs every 10 seconds or so. So there is no batch job to import the requisitions.

Why wouldn't you want them to release?  We always set RQ500 to release the req with the Integrator version.

Not because of me, the person who has materials needs to see that hs staff is ordering correctly, so as a result in the past he would have the old rq500 not release rq's. I think the system should be as streamed lined as possible with little intervention as possible, so we do not see eye to eye on this one. The only way to do this as it looks is to put a dollar limit and have him look for them . WE don't have processflow here so that would be the only avenue if he still wants this function as far as I can see. I'm still open for sugestion if anyone has anything they can offer
