    In our 8.0.3 world we had a setting in the user role xml files to hide the left hand portal menu for most users and not for others. in moving to 9.0 we have not found how we can accomplish this without touching everyones individual xml files has anyone done something like this.

    We display LBI/Frameworkservices to all employees within portal but only HR users need to see the portal menu.

      Have you looked at Portal Roles? There is an option for 'Allow use of Menus' that should do what you want.

        Actually what i am looking for is a link I can put on our manager self service screen that performs the same function as clicking the small grey triangle or hitting the ctrl+shift+f7 hotkey.
