established company and is entered on
all function codes.

Accounting Unit The accounting unit is a shorthand
notation representing the variable level
number. When used in the General Ledger
Account Master file, the accounting unit
must be defined in the General Ledger
Names file as a posting accounting unit.

Account This field along with the accounting
unit and subaccount make up the location
(account) where amounts and other
account information is stored.

Posting Date The date assigned to the journal entry
for posting.

Sequence Number This field contains an internal
sequence number associated with the GL
Interface file and is reserved for
system-use only.

Run Date The date a transaction is posted to
general ledger.
GLJ-RUN-TIME Numeric 6 (hhmmss) GL951
Run Time Contains the time a transaction is
posted to the general ledger.
GLJ-OBJ-ID Numeric 12 GL951
Object ID This is the object identifier. It is
used to relate commitments or posted
transactions back to the originating
subsystems. Each subsystem record that
is updated as a commitment or posted
transaction is assigned an object
identifier. The object identifier is
maintained in the subsystem files and in
the Activity Commitments Detail and
Activity Transaction files. The object
identifier is a unique key used to drill
back from Activity Management to the
subsystems.

Fiscal Year This is the current fiscal year. This
field is updated by GL199 (Period
Closing).
GLJ-ACCT-PERIOD Numeric 2 GL951
Accounting Period This is the current accounting period.
This field is updated by GL199 (Period
Closing).
GLJ-CONTROL-GROUP Numeric 8 GL951
Control Group This field contains the journal entry
number used for process control of the
journal entry detail.
GLJ-SYSTEM Alpha 2 GL951
System A two-character code representing an
application used within the Lawson
system. (i.e.: GL = General Ledger, AP =
Accounts Payable, etc.)
GLJ-JE-TYPE Alpha 1 GL951
Journal Entry Type The type of journal entry. Valid values
are Normal and Intercompany.
GLJ-JE-SEQUENCE Numeric 2 GL951
Journal Entry The unique journal entry sequence
Sequence number.
GLJ-LINE-NBR Numeric 6 GL951
Line Number This field contains the line number.
