strategic ledger OLAP member information defined in SL87 (Strategic Ledger
Data Mart Setup).

ledger.
The Ledger information is used to post
Strategic ledger data using SL190
(Strategic Ledger Posting) or used for
reporting in the OLAP environment using
SL87 (Strategic Ledger Data Mart Setup).
SIM-SEGMENT Alpha 15
Segment The name that identifies the user
analysis.
A user analysis is a flexible,
user-defined element, much like an
accounting unit, account, or attribute,
that stores transaction information you
can use for reports and analysis.
You can use a user analysis to track
multiple elements of business data.
SIM-SEGMENT-TYPE Alpha 1
Segment Type This identifies whether the information
included in the ledger defined in SL50.1
(Strategic Ledger) General Ledger only
information, a user analysis field, or
an attribute.
1 = GL Segment
2 = User Analysis
3 = Attribute
4 = Year
SIM-SEQ-NUMBER Numeric 6
Sequence Number A unique number assigned to each
transaction to be transferred into the
Lawson system.
SIM-MBR-NAME Alpha 30 (Lower Case)
Member Name The Member Name field contains the
user-defined member name for the income
statement member. This name can contain
up to 30 characters of any kind.
SIM-ALIAS-MBR-NAME Alpha 30 (Lower Case)
Alias The Alias Member Name field contains
the alias name for the member. This name
can contain up to 30 characters of any
kind.
SIM-MATRIX-VIEW Alpha 12
Attribute View The Attribute View field contains the
accounting unit view being used for
alternate roll-ups. Any posting
accounting units listed in a view that
is used for alternate roll-ups must also
be included in one of the company,
accounting, or company groups.
SIM-VAR-TYPE Alpha 1
Var Type The Variance Type field contains the
value that represents the variance type
for fiscal year variances.
Valid values are:
A = Variance Amount
P = Variance Percent
SIM-VAR-SUBTYPE Alpha 1
Var Subtype The Variance Subtype field contains the
value that represents the variance
subtype for budget variances.
Value values are:
A = Budget to Actuals
B = Budget to Budget
SIM-VAR-ELEMENT1 Numeric 4
Var Element1 The Variance Element One field contains
the first item (fiscal year or budget
member) that is used in the variance
calculation.
SIM-VAR-ELEMENT2 Numeric 4
Var Element2 The Variance Element Two field contains
the second item (fiscal year or budget
member) that is used in the variance
calculation.
SIM-VAR-ELEMENT3 Alpha 30 (Lower Case)
Var Element3 The Variance Element Three field
contains the third item (fiscal year or
budget member) that is used in the
variance calculation.
