PL Ledger Select
The Strategic Ledger Ledger Select (SLSLSEL) file is used by OLAP reporting
environment.

Ledger The name that identifies the strategic
ledger.
The Ledger information is used to post
Strategic ledger data using SL190
(Strategic Ledger Posting) or used for
reporting in the OLAP environment using
SL87 (Strategic Ledger Data Mart Setup).
SLS-OR-GROUP Alpha 1
Or Group This field determines how attribute
information is grouped by creating an
and/or condition. The "and" condition
groups attributes, while the "or"
condition separates "and" groups
information for multiple attributes.
Type the same character to group
attributes with an "and" condition and a
different character to group "or"
conditions. The system interprets "and"
conditions first. Note: The system
identifies blank fields as a character.
If you identify two attributes and type
a character in this field for one
attribute, the "or" condition defaults.
For example, you want to compare totals
for unreleased (0) transactions in
period 12, released (1) transactions in
period 12, and posted (5) transactions
in period 12:

analysis.
A user analysis is a flexible,
user-defined element, much like an
accounting unit, account, or attribute,
that stores transaction information you
can use for reports and analysis.
You can use a user analysis to track
multiple elements of business data.

Segment Type This identifies whether the information
included in the ledger defined in SL50.1
(Strategic Ledger) General Ledger only
information, a user analysis field, or
an attribute.
1 = GL Segment
2 = User Analysis
3 = Attribute
SLS-SEQ-NUMBER Numeric 6
Record Sequence A unique number assigned to each
Number transaction to be transferred into the
Lawson system.
SLS-FR-SEG-VALUE Alpha 32
From Value The beginning value in a range of user
analysis values.
SLS-TH-SEG-VALUE Alpha 32
Through Value The ending value in a range of user
analysis values.
