AM35.1 - Mass Transfer Selection
**Form Purpose
Use Mass Transfer Selection (AM35.1) to select all assets or any selected
group of assets for a company, location, division, type, asset group, or
account group to be transferred. In addition the Mass Transfer Filter subform
lets you select a location detail, an accounting unit or an accounting unit
group to be transferred.

To select a location detail, an accounting group, or an accounting unit for
transfer, follow this procedure:
1. Choose the Filter button to open the Mass Transfer Filter subform.
2. Select Y (Yes) in the Enable Filter field.
3. Enter your transfer parameters
4. Click on the checkmark to save your parameters and return to AM35.1 where
you can select the affected assets.
If you want to select most of the assets that meet the criteria for transfer,
follow this procedure:
1. Select Y (Yes) in the Select All field and use the Load form action. All
assets display with an X, indicating that they are selected.
2. To deselect any of the assets, select N (No) in the Select All field,
select D (Delete) in the FC field for each asset you want to deselect, and use
the Change form action to revise the selection.
If you want to select only a few of the assets that meet the criteria for
transfer, follow this procedure:
1. Select N (No) in the Select All field and use the Load form action. All
assets display without an X, indicating that none of the assets are selected.
2. To select any asset, select A (Add) in the FC field for the asset you want
to select, and use the Change form action.
To finalize and release the transfer, run Mass Transfers (AM135).
You can change your selections as often as needed until you release the
transfer, using Mass Transfers (AM135).
To view the total cost basis and asset count of all the assets selected,
choose the Totals button to open the Mass Transfer Totals subform.

AM35.2 - Mass Transfer Filter
**Form Purpose
Use Mass Transfer Filter (AM35.2) to add location detail information to a "To
Location" defined on Mass Transfer Selection (AM35.1) or to review and edit
location transfer information imported from a transfer file generated by a
handheld terminal.
You can also use this subform to add account group, accounting unit, or
accounting unit group parameters to the asset transfer selection. Enter your
criteria and click the checkbox to return to AM35.1 and display the selected
assets.
**More Information
If you want the parameters you select on this form to take effect, you must
select Y (Yes) in the Enable Filter field. An asterisk displays next to the
Filter button on AM35.1 to indicate that the filter is enabled.
Entering a location detail will assign the same location detail to all the
items of all the selected assets. To change the location detail for only some
of the items associated with an asset, use Items (AM20.3) or Items (AM21.3).
If you want to transfer assets associated with an accounting unit group, and
either the From Accounting Unit Group, or the To Accounting Unit Group, or
both, do not have accounting units defined for all the accounts, you also need
to select a corresponding default accounting unit.

AM35.3 - Mass Transfer Totals
**Form Purpose
Use Mass Transfer Totals (AM35.3) to display the total number of assets
selected and the total cost basis of the selected assets.
