BN85.1 - Free Form Letter
**Form Purpose
Use Free Form Letter (BN85.1) to write the body of free-form letters.
A free-form letter is a letter that is sent once to a particular employee,
dependent, COBRA participant, or retiree for a particular situation.
**Processing Effect
When you write a free-form letter, the Printed field defaults to Not Printed.
When you print the letter, BN285 (Standard Letter Print) updates the Printed
field to Printed. You can reprint a free-form letter by changing the print
status from Printed to Not Printed.
Note If you intend to print the letter using the letter and label option in
BN285 (Standard Letter Print), the letter cannot exceed 40 lines in length.
