PA35.1 - Applicant Competencies
**Form Purpose
Use Applicant Competencies (PA35.1) to track information about an applicant's
competencies.
The Personnel Administration system uses competency information to determine
whether an applicant is qualified to perform a job or position.
**Processing Effect
When you employ an applicant by using Hire an Applicant (PA52.4), the
information from this screen updates to Competencies (PA21.1); you do not have
to re-type information.

    APPLICANT  - The Applicant file is maintained by this program on add
                 function. Updates APL-LAST-EPC-SEQ.

    CKPOINT    - The Check Point file is the environment file used for recovery.
    EMPCODES   - The Emp/App Personnel Codes file is the main file updated by
                 this program. Records have EPC-TYPE = SK.
    PACOMMENTS - The Personnel Comments file deletes comments with PAC-CMT-TYPE
                 = SK.
