IA100 - Analytic Architect Startup
Welcome to Analytic Architect Startup
Run Analytic Architect Startup (IA100) to load all the lawson.insight data
mart types.
** Error Prevention
If you enter a value in the Data Mart Destination field, you need to run this
program at least twice before the default value appears. First to load the
destination and again to update the default value.
** Process at a glance
1. (YOU ARE HERE) Load the preassigned data mart types.
2. Create an OLAP destination.
3. Define the data mart.
4. Define the dimensions for the data mart.
5. Define the information transfer profile.
6. Load the data mart.
** Field Descriptions
Job Name: Type a name for your job.
Choose the destinations for your output. You can choose any or all of the
following destinations:
Essbase Destinations - If you want to add a Hyperion Essbase data source,
select Y.
MS OLAP Destinations - If you want to add a Microsoft Analysis Services data
source, select Y.
ASCII Destinations - If you want to generate ASCII Star Schema output, select
Y.
Load Data Mart Definitions: Select Y to load the definitions.
Load Dimension Definitions: Select Y to make the Analytic Architect
application recognize the dimension build programs from the other
applications. This will create a list of shared dimensions.
Data Mart Destination (optional): If you plan to use the same OLAP
destination when you create data marts you can type in a default value in this
field. This value will be filled in automatically as the destination value on
Data Mart Manager (IA10.1).

Updated Files
APPLICTYPE - This program creates records in the APPLICTYPE data file.
CKPOINT - This program updates the CKPOINT data file with the restart
position of the recovered batch job.
