BN70.1 - COBRA Participant
Use COBRA Participant (BN70.1) to track information about COBRA participants.
**More Information
You can add a COBRA participant manually using this form, automatically
using personnel actions in the Personnel Administration application, or
automatically
using benefit automation reports in the Benefits application.
If you want to add an employee or a dependent as a COBRA participant,
you only need to define the participant's occurrence and occurrence date.
The other information--including address, Social Security number, birthdate,
and so on--default from the Human Resources application.

Use Participant Dates (BN70.2) to track dates that control a COBRA
participant's
eligibility.
You can update these dates using this program, or by running BN170 (COBRA
Notification Report), BN171 (COBRA Letters), and BN175 (COBRA/Retiree
Outstanding
Invoices).
