BR58.1 - Product Tax Relationships
Use Product Tax Relationships (BR58.1) to define
and maintain product tax relationships. A product tax relationship is a
combination
of an account category, delivery method, and tax product code, and is used
to determine the tax amount on a product or maintenance contract. Tax
relationships
override both the bill-to address and service location when determining tax
amounts.
NOTE Tax relationships defined here must also be defined as exceptions
on . Tax relationships
are interfaced to the Lawson Tax (TX) system during invoice processing and
used to identify the appropriate tax rate for the product's delivery method.
