GL298 - GL Commitment Analysis Report
Run GL Commitment Analysis Report (GL298) to print a report
that summarizes accounting unit commitments and encumbrances and to
view remaining budget amounts.
Commitments and encumbrances are transactions released in other
Lawson applications, but not yet posted to General Ledger. They include
purchase orders and payables not yet distributed among General Ledger
accounts and unposted General Ledger and subledger transactions.
Use the Main page to select the company(s), accounting unit(s),
and account(s) you want to include in the report.
Use the Other Options page to further define the parameters
for the report, such as year or periods, budget, and system code.
You can use system code only for Commitment Detail (B)
and Actuals Detail (C) report types.
Use the Output Options page to define the print parameters for
the report and to indicate whether to include company and report totals.
