IC30.1 - Item Search
Use Item Search (IC30.1) to search for item numbers defined in IC11.1
(Item Master) or IC10.2 (Item Master and Location). You can perform an item
search to view all items existing within a company, or you can limit the
search
to one access code and a corresponding field value.
- D = Description
- G = Generic Name
- I = Inventory Class
- P = Purchasing Class
- S = Sales Class
- U = User Defined Field Name #1
**More Information
If an access code is specified, you can enter a complete or partial
field value by which to sort the inventory database. This form displays item
numbers alphanumerically beginning with the first item found that most closely
matches the selection criteria. Page down through item numbers in the sequence
selected. You can use the Position To field to view a specific item number
within the selection criteria.
NOTE This form displays item numbers and descriptions. To view a specific
item record in a selected form, select the line action X and the Transfer
form action to view the item in a selected form.
