IFAS.1 - Account Dimension Definition
Use Account Dimension (IFAS.1) to define the options for the account
dimension.
Chart Name: select the chart of accounts for your company as defined
in the General Ledger application.
Section: Select the desired account section. All Accounts is the default.
Balance Sheet Name: If you selected 1 (Balance Sheet) or All Accounts
in the Section field, type a balance sheet name.
Inc Statement Name: If you selected 2 (Income Statement) or All Accounts
in the Section field, type an income statement name.
Major Acct Roll-Up: Select whether subaccounts roll up into a major
account when the database is calculated. For example, if you choose Y (Yes)
and have a cash account 100-00 with subaccounts 100-01, and 100-02, an account
member CASH 100 is created with the following children: 100-00, 100-01, and
100-02. If you choose N (No), the accounts 100-00, 100-01, and 100-02 are
created at the account member level.
Alternate Chart1/Chart2: Optional. Select up to two alternate accounts
as defined in the General Ledger application.
Account View1/View 2: Optional. Select up to two account views as defined
in the Attribute Matrix application. Tip: Account views let you customize
alternate roll-ups.
