Currently we are on version 9.0.11.583 , RQC 10.00.02.02 26, Punchout 9.0.1.5, Internet Explorer 11 (IE) Edge We are implementing Office Depot as a punchout vendor and experiencing difficulties opening a URL within their punchout site. Being told by Office Depot E-Commerce support this an IE compatibility view issue within our internal settings. Our Lawson application opens through IE into version 5 as the default; Office Depot requires 8 or higher for their catalog. We are not redirecting the app version thru a group policy.
We then updated the puchoutShop.html file that opens punchout to included the following code directing the IE compatibility view:
Helped the general catalog page presentation; now presenting a sidebar and detail side-by-side verses stacked upon each other
Brand Identity URL still opens with IE compatibility error
If we do a direct connection (through IE only) to the Brand Identity link (not thru punchout) the connection behaves and we are able to access as expected.
It was suggested that the Lawson application is acting as the parent to punchout. Even through punchout may open into EDGE thru the puchoutShop.html, punchout is the child and the parent is still in control as version 5. I'm not convinced this is true because the code update did help presentation of general catalog item as Edge.
Has anyone experienced anything similar within Punchout?
