We are in the process of upgrading to Lawson 10.  Our companies default browser of choice is Chrome.  Some of our users, when trying to view a report as a PDF, it is making them save first.  However, when I view the same report the same way, it just pops up in Adobe viewer.  I had the user log into IE and try the view as PDF, in IE it pops up in Adobe without making them save first.  Therefore my assumption is that this is a Chrome issue and not a Lawson issue.  I have reviewed my Chrome settings to the users and do not see any differences, but I am not guaranteeing that I am looking at the right things.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

PDFs don't open automatically in Chrome

This topic is a known issue we're working to fix. If you want, you can report the issue: Click the Chrome menu Menu > Help > Report an issue. Add details to help us fix it faster.

You can normally open PDFs automatically in Chrome by clicking on the file you want to see. If your PDFs are downloading instead of opening automatically in Chrome, Chrome PDF viewer may have been turned off.

    Turn on Chrome PDF viewer

    Go to chrome://plugins
Under "Chrome PDF Viewer," click Enable PDF viewing.
Chrome will now open PDFs automatically when you click on them.
