We are in the process of a Lean Management initiative for all of our clinical units.

Some units have more than one RQC user. Some have not been communicating very well and have placed duplicate orders when replenishing their items.

Is there a way for an RQC user to go into Lawson to see if other orders have been placed for their own specific department? They are trainied to print their reqs or save them electronically, but it seems they are placing orders w/o checking these two locations first.

I just wanted to know if there was a Lawson form available to them that could perhaps give them order info.

Hey Bev!

We use Requisition Status for that purpose. The requester can go there (instead of hitting shopping) and pull up all of the requisitions that they've done. They can also see all of the requisitions for a department by removing their requester ID. It can be searched by a date range, location, etc.

They also use it to see if a PO has been assigned or if it has been approved yet, etc.

Thanks Michele!!

I see the Req Status option under Req Reporting, but what form are you referring to where they would remove their requester ID to see all of the dept. reqs?

As part of RQC we have something called Requisition Status. It is a separate link but I think that it came with it and wasn't something we purchased separately.

I'll email you a screen shot of what I see.

You could also use the RQ40 form using Next and Previous to scan through the other users.

Status should be part of the Requisition Center menu in Lawson Portal. (Below where you click on Shopping now.) If it is not, the bookmark is turned off by your IT.

Once there - yes, you remove your default requester but we strongly advise putting in a date range and we've got several years of data. The screen functions as RQ40/44/44.2 and once there you can drill down to POs and receipts.
