We're building new 403(b) retirement plans in Lawson, and so far everything is working well except for one plan - from what I can tell, it's set up like the others, but when I try and enroll eligible employees, I receive the error "Premium record does not exist for emp" - I've searched high and low, but can't figure out what's causing the error.
The retirement plan shows up in the employees' BN31.2 as a plan that they are eligible to participate in, but I receive the error once I try and add the plan as of their plan eligibility date. Has anyone experienced this who might be able to point me in the right direction?
Any input appreciated!!
Margie, your mention of employee groups led me to the root cause. We have an employee group that controls the 403(b) eligibility, but other groups that define the employee contribution and match schedule. It turns out that we hadn't defined that in BN18.3 for one of our employee groups, which in turn caused the error. Thanks for your quick reply; you saved me from a headache that's been plaguing me for quite some time!
