NGHS wants to parallel test 9.0.0.4 with 9.0.1.5 Lawson applications. I installed taxfactory 9.0.b1 and am attempting to reinstall 8.0.r on the Lawson 9.0.0.4 side.

The taxfactory interface compile looks like it only references the 9.0.1.5 side.

My question is - Can the 8 and 9 libraries live in the same directory?

Thanks.

To expand on Jimmy's statement, you'd need two *environments* to do this successfully, since you have environment level variables that would have to handled.

This is quite a bit trickier on the Windows platform.

He is correct.  We have two environments setup on one of our systems.  The most difficult part was setting of multiple LDAPS.  The rest is a peice of cake. You simply install a new instance/environment with a different name.  It still takes time. You need two of everything (Webshere instance, Server, Environement LAW9,LAW92, ldap or adam dn must be unique for two,all ports must be unique).  Hey this is sounding like a lot of work

You may be able to test them one after another - BSI 8.0.r followed by BSI 9 but they cannot co-exist in the same environment as you have to flip variables and rerun cmprts.
