We occasional have slow performance with MS-Addins. A while back Lawson consultant suggested us to setup a dedicated URL for MS-Addins.  Have anyone out there tried this approach? What are the steps involved? Appreciated any feedback.

I know in discussions around performanace with other hospitals around us, one with heavy Add-in usage has set up a separate Websphere JVM and point there add-in transactions through that JVM.

We have done a similar thing with the data calls for MSCM but the concept is basically the same to direct traffic through an separate JVM so you impact the core application as little as possible with large data calls, or resource intensive transactions like add-ins.

Let me know if you need more info and I can put you in touch with our sys admin here.

Mark,

Thanks a lot for the reply. I would love to know more as how your system admin setup a separate JVM for heavy data transaction?  Below is my contact:

Thanks in advance.

I got it setup. Just follow Aadmin guide for Server Setup and maintenance to setup endpoint and endpoint group.
