Hi

has anyone had any issues with the new MOA download from Lawson.?
When I install onto a new pc or rebuilt one (eitehr windows 7 or xp, office 2010 or 2003) - we get a login error when trying to run our pre-built excel upload spreadsheets.
Originally our VB script in the excel spreadsheet referenced the install directory (c;\program files\lawson sfoware\common\lawssohttp2.dll); but the new download istalls this file as lawssohttp3.dll

I have tried to copy the fodlers from another PC (the common directory that has lawssohttp2.dll file) - but we get a login fail window.

we no longer have an old lawson add ins install file

I am getting the same error. I was able to make it work on my laptop but not on my desktop. Is there anyway to narrow down the possible error... Im running 9.0.1 ...Any help will be appreciated..

Thanks

Update:... using the same spreadsheet i was able to login on a diff pc, and on some pc it will give me that same error "Your Login has failed"....

Any ideas on what might be blocking the login process...????

Thank you for the help.....

I would check:

1) server you are trying to connect to via addin. May need to specify http://server:port

2) Local workstation firewall settings. Is it allowing the port thru?

Using the PCs that we're having some problems, i was able to connect via addin directly. On both occasions..

The login failure is caused by Active X cannot create an instance of LawSSOHttp2. If you have both LawSSOHttp2.dll and LawSSOHttp3.dll in the common folder, remove LawSSOHttp3.dll from common folder. After removing it, I was able to login.
