Testing environment security patches

We need to install an environment patch that appears to include every security-related jar, war, and ear file there is. There doesn't seem to be any info related to what is actually changed, just which JT's are addressed. We (and especially our users) don't really have time to "test everything", so what is your best practice?
AIX 6.1, 901ESP8, 901appsMSP6

When it comes to security-- esp LSF9 Security, I'd be very careful. If you don't have time to test 'everything', evaluate if you 'really' need to take this patch.

Do you have DSSO installed, this security patch will likely cause you to have to re-install DSSO, but test it first... if it works, I just leave it alone.
